This fundraiser is held in memory of Tony Barron, whose bravery has touched this community in a profound way. His loss is felt deeply by all who knew him and all who have heard his story. Thank you, Warrensburg for embracing his memory with so much dignity, and respect. It’s beautiful to see so many people standing together to honor Tony’s courage.
WARRENSBURG - We are deeply saddened that the heroic actions of Tony Barron have resulted in his passing.
We would like to do a fundraiser to help assist with funeral and or burial expenses associated with this devastating loss. We will donate 100% of the proceeds from a special tribute donut, in his honor.
Please tell us some of the biggest parking lots in town so we can start looking for a place to host this event.
Our deepest condolences to your community. Our hearts also goes out to the woman who Tony protected. We are keeping her in our prayers, asking that she finds comfort, healing, and safety as she continues to process what she endured.
In a moment of crisis, Tony Barron didn’t hesitate to step forward. He put himself between danger and someone who needed help, acting out of pure courage. That single, selfless decision cost him his life, but it also revealed the depth of his character.
Tony was a father, a son, a loyal friend, and a proud Army Veteran. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will tell you he was always the first to offer a hand, the first to show up, and the first to protect others. The way he left this world was the same way he lived in it: with bravery, kindness, and an unwavering willingness to help someone in need.
